Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, June 6, 2025 — Philippine Nutri-Foods Corporation (PNFC) proudly participated in the 2025 Nutrition Forum held on June 6–7, 2025 in Malaybalay City, Bukidnon, where nutrition advocates, local government units, and health workers gathered under the theme “Nutrition in Motion!” The event was organized by Nutrition Action Officers Association of the Philippines Northern Mindanao (NAOPA NM) Inc. in partnership with National Nutrition Council Region X and the LGU Malaybalay City.

During the 2025 Nutrition Forum at the Kaamulan Folk Arts Theater, PNFC reconnected with nutrition officers and frontline health workers, and at the same time strengthened relationships with LGUs across Region 10. Through these conversations, the company gained valuable insights into local initiatives while reaffirming its commitment to maternal and child nutrition.

Moreover, PNFC distributed product samples and freebies formulated to support children’s growth as well as the nutritional needs of pregnant and lactating women, thereby reinforcing its advocacy for both children’s health and women’s health. By directly engaging with stakeholders, the company was able to see firsthand how community-based programs align with its mission.

The second day featured a Fun Run at Malaybalay City Hall, where a PNFC representative actively participated alongside health workers and community members. Importantly, events like the 2025 Nutrition Forum and Fun Run encourage health workers not only to enrich their knowledge but also to model healthy lifestyles, since their participation demonstrates that advocacy must be practiced as well as promoted.
